PURPOSE:To detect easily and quickly the antigen in a sample with good reproducibility without receiving the influence of a material which causes a non- specific agglutination by using an antibody for the antigen formed by acylating said antibody and sensitizing the acylated antibody with an insoluble solid as a reagent for agglutination. CONSTITUTION:An antibody which is acrylated by a succinic anhydride, acetic anhydride, etc. is sensitized with the latex particles of a polystyrene or styrene/ butadiene copolymer. Such sensitized carrier is suspended at 0.01-3.0wt% concn. in a buffer soln. kept at 6-10pH and protein or saccharide which does not contribute to an immune reaction is added thereto as a stabilizer to make the soln. storable. The reagent prepd. in such a way is added to a bio-fluid sample and the antigen is observed with naked eyes by agglutination or the turbidity is observed. The acylated antibody prevents the non-specific agglutination of the protein, etc. in the bio-fluid sample and therefore the need for the operation of removing these disturbing components in the sample is eliminated and the immune analysis is made possible quickly with good reproducibility.
