<p>The hopper is for animal fodder and similar granular material, having a mainly cylindrical body. This body has a horizontal axis and a discharge opening at one end, clear of which is an inlet. The granular contents are delivered to the discharge opening by an auger, which is always kept at the level of the material in the hopper. The end containing the discharge opening can be conical, the opening being situated in the tip of it, while the auger is shaped so as to keep close to the hopper inside wall.FL.</p> |
