A 2-component permanent dye for living human hair contains (I) a component with pH above 7, contg. a p-arylene diamine as oxidative dye, at least 1 coupling component, an alkanolamine, and at least 3 wt.% of an antioxidant, and (II) a 2nd component component contg. 6-14 wt.% of H2O2.
