摘要 PURPOSE:To detect a reversible material or quasi-reversible material with high sensitivity and high selectivity by repeating oxidation and reduction between opposed working electrodes by an opposed double working electrode type electrochemical detector. CONSTITUTION:The length in the flow passage (lateral) direction of electrodes 11, 12 embedded in lower and upper ''Daiflon'' resin plates 13, 14 is made about serveral-fold the width of the flow passage. The potential of the opposed working electrodes 11, 12 of the opposed parallel type double working electrode electrochemical detector is set at the value necessary for oxidation and reduction of a reversible material with respect to a reference electrode (silver-silver chloride electrode ) 4 and the oxidizing current and reducing current flowing between the electrodes are detected by repeating the oxidation and reduction of the sample eluted from a micro-sepn. column 8 of a high speed chromatography, by which the intended component is detected with high sensitivity and high selectivity.
