The device consists of a base (1), with cooling plate (2), guiding (8a, 8b) and clamping (10a, 10b) parts, which press a plug-in module (5) onto the cooling plate (2). When the module is inserted or removed, it is pressed away from the cooling plate by control members (11a, 11b), which can be adjusted externally, to avoid relative movements of contact surfaces which lie against each other, and therefore damage to them and deterioration of the cooling effect.
