PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus capable of giving a dried grains such as soybeans similar to the spontaneously dried grains, by placing a far infrared radiator to the circulation path of a slow conveyor for the transfer of the grains to be dried. CONSTITUTION:The grains are supplied from the bottom of the hopper 2 in the casing 1 to the slow conveyor 3, and then transferred to the bucket conveyor 4 at a rate of 0.1-0.15m/min. In the course of being transferred through the circulation path of the bucket conveyor 4, the grains are heated and dried with the far infrared radiation irradiated from the far infrared radiator 5 attached to the circulation path. Preferably, the space in the casing 1 is maintained at a low temperature and low absolute humidity by an air conditioner or a ventilator 6. |
