PURPOSE:To make high-quality tonal recording by eliminating roughness of picture quality by a method in which one particle of one or more kinds of color ink particles are made to collide on one or more of transparent liquid ink particles on the same position on a recording paper for recording. CONSTITUTION:A colorless, transparent liquid ink (or colorless ink) is supplied to an ink supply port 1a on the A-raw side of a multi-nozzle head 1, and a color ink is supplied to an ink supply port 1b on the B-row side. Ink particles 2 flaying off from nozzles aligned in parallel at the same height as both the rows collide on the same position of a recording paper 3 and recorded as one dot. In this case, one color ink particle and plural colorless ink particles may be combined, permitting the tonal property to be more raised and high-quality recording to be obtained. As colorless transparent liquid ink particles, the solvent of color liquid ink to be used is preferable. |
