PURPOSE:To realize a simple, lightweight, and inexpensive mechanism and apply it to the measurement of the strength of a held fulcrum of mountaineering by providing a cam and a pressure wheel to two side plates which are fixed at an interval, and clamping a rope for braking which couples with one load. CONSTITUTION:A load guage body consists of the 1st side plate, the 2nd side plate 4, the cam 5, a cam shaft 6, the pressure wheel 7, a load support shaft 8 serving for the reinforcement of the side plates, the rope 11 for braking, and a loading rope 12. A stand by rope 13 is stored in a storage bag without any kink. The storage bag has a hole 15 for inserting the braking rope 11. The braking rope 11 coupling with one load is clamped between the cam 5 and pressure wheel 7 and also contacts the circumferential edge of the cam 5 at a >=90 deg. center angle to obtain the simple, light-weight, and inexpensive mechanism, applying the load gauge to the measurement of the strength of the held fulcrum of mountaineering.
