PURPOSE:To detect the position of a moving body through simple constitution by detecting the level of sound pressure corresponding to the distance of sounding from the sound source on a moving body at two fixed positions, and deciding on the position of the moving body. CONSTITUTION:The sounding from the sound source 2 on the moving body 1 with a constant power level is detected by sound detection parts 3a and 3b at two fixed points, and sound pressure level decision devices 4a and 4b decides on the distance and the sound pressure level after the attenuation of exponential function relation. Then, an arithmetic circuit 5 performs triangulation arithmetic based upon the distance between the fixed points and the distance from the moving body to detect the position of the moving body 1. Consequently, the position of the moving body is detected through the simple constitution without using any ultrasonic wave, etc. |
