PURPOSE:To reduce in size and to improve the picture quality of an obtained copy by using a photosensitive belt instead of a photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive belt 10 is extended among three rolls 11- 13 to form a horizontal and a vertical part. A black-and-white developing device 14 and developing devices 15-17 for yellow, cyan, and magenta are arranged under the horizontal part from a base side to a terminal side in the moving direction of the photosensitive belt 10, and a bias transfer roll 18 is provided. A cleaning device 19 is provided on the vertical part side, so toner removed from the photosensitive belt never scatters to the circumference, and the evil influence such the adherence of toner to the photosensitive belt to be exerted upon the picture quality of a copy is eliminated. |
