The cast base block includes a rigid rim part with circumferential flange (2) and upstanding collar (3). Blind threaded holes (4) are drilled at equal pitch spacings in the flange top surface. The ring (1) has four equi-spaced protrusions (5) positioned in the bore. A flange section (6) with stop edge (7) is integral with the upstanding collar. The locking mechanism further includes a cast metal part and grub screws securing the unit. A square connecting pin fits in the housing forming part of the lock. The pin is inserted prior to fitting the cast block to the ring.
