PURPOSE:To atttain phase tracking control from the next phase detecting position even if times impossible for detecting a transmission phase position are consecutive by spreading a decision possible region of lead/lag of a phase. CONSTITUTION:Pulses 49, 50 formed by a reception main scanning counter 45 are phase position supervising pulses located respectively near the front edge and the rear edge of a phase signal. Thus the phase difference detecting range is widened. Further, set/reset FFs 56, 57 have a function deciding lead/lag of a phase. Moreover, a data selector 4 increase a high order clock 39 when phase lag is decided and decreases the clock 39 when phase lead is decided. The decision possible region of lead/lag of the phase is widened in this way. Then even if a time not detecting a transmission phase position is consecutive, the phase tracking control is attained from the next phase detecting position.
