PURPOSE:To prevent the diffusion of liquefied gas to the open air by providing a box to house liquefied gas effluent from its upper part, a float to float the box on the surface of water, and a gas extraction duct device to deliver the gas effluent to a given position. CONSTITUTION:Even when liquefied gas leaks from a liquefied gas transport pipe during cargo work, liquefied gas 7 is received on the upside of a box 4 and put into the opening 4a. Part of the lique fied gas 7 vaporized at ordinary temperature and the remainder absorbs the heat of the sea water and is vaporized to become gas 8. The gas 8 is trapped in the box 4, sucked through the duct 2 from a tube 6 with a suction hole by means of a vacuum pump, and housed in a tank, etc. The diffusion of liquefied gas from the upper part to the open air can thus be prevented because it is housed in the box while being sucked.
