PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability for operating an electrical curving drive mechanism and to increase the ease with which an endoscope operating part is washed. SOLUTION: This apparatus includes an operating part 9 provided at a proximal end, a slender insertion part joined with the front side of the operating part 9, a curving motor 31 for driving and curving a curving part provided at the insertion part, and a curving motor controller 6 for controlling the curving motor 31. The operating part 9 is longitudinally split into front and rear portions, and the rear portion is freely movably joined with the front operating part as an operating part head under a watertight condition; a joystick 22 for transmitting signals to the curving motor controller 6 is disposed at the front operating part, and the operating lever of the joystick 22 is securely connected to the operating part head 103 to use the operating part head 103 as the operating end of the joystick 22. |
