<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the copy sheet storing capacity by providing a sorter bin capable of moving between a sorter position and a non-sorter position, so that when receives a command for enlarging a storing space of the sorter bin, the sorter bin is moved to the non-sorter position. CONSTITUTION:A sorter 1 for a copying machine has a plurality of sorter bins 2a-2d vertically spaced from each other. A strut 3 is bored through each one corner of these bins 2a-2d. The strut 3 is fixed to an arbitrary bin 2a, not fixed to the other bins, so that the bin 2a can be moved from a sorter position to a non-sorter position by rotating the strut 3 with an actuator 4. The actuator 4 is operated by controlling an actuator driving circuit 13 through a control portion at the time of operating a sorter bin move command key, and when a sensor 10 detects that the bin 2a reaches the non-sorter position, the drive to the actuator 4 is stopped.</p> |
