PURPOSE:To attain the evaluation of performance under a continuous operation by separating a measuring system from a working system among the component elements of a computer system and preventing the data collection operation from giving an interruption to the job of the working system. CONSTITUTION:The component elements of a computer system are separated between a working system A and a measuring system B. A channel interface device 25 transfers the start request information to a main storage 27 every time a start request is given to a disk controller 24 from a central processor 21. In this case the device 25 transfers a specific frequency to the storage 27 and then gives an interruption request to a central processor 26. Therefore the processor 26 stores the start request information equivalent to the specific frequency to a disk device 28 with said interruption request. |
