PURPOSE:To make the transmission of signals ever so stable and sure, by interposing such an optical fiber ring as arranging plural optical fibers on the same concentricity as a steering shaft, between a light emitting element installed at the handle side and a light receiving element installed at the fixed part side. CONSTITUTION:Each of switches S1-Sn is mounted on a steering handle 41, and these switches are connected to each module 43 of a multiplexing circuit, a driving circuit and so on. An optical fiber ring 28 is installed inside a rotor 47 being secured tight to a steering shaft 44 so as to rotate together as one body. The ring 28 is made up of arranging plural optical fibers on the same concentricity as the said shaft 33, while one end of these optical fibers 28a is bundled and disposed in opposition to a light emitting element inside the module 43. On the other hand, a light receiving element 29 is installed on a receiver base plate 51 at the fixed part side in opposition to these optical fibers 28a of the optical fiber ring 28.
