PURPOSE:To promote impregnation of electrolyte into positive pole agent by inserting a core rod into the hollow section of positive pole agent then pressing the positive pole agent and applying onto the positive pole can thereafter pulling the rod and making coarse the inner circumferential face of positive pole agent. CONSTITUTION:Positive pole agent powder is pressure molded into rings 2 and laminated in a positive pole can 1 then a core rod 21 is inserted into the hollow section thereafter positive pole agent 2 is pressed by a punch 22 to be applied on the inner wall of said can 1. After removing the punch 22 and core rod 21, the inner circumferential face of positive pole agent 2 is made coarse through rotation of carbide grinding rod then a tubular separator 3 is inserted and electrolyte is injected to be impregnated into the positive pole agent 2. Thereafter negative pole agent 4 is filled to produce a tubular alkali cell. Consequently high density portion contacting with the core rod 21 of positive pole agent 2 can be eliminated to improve affinity of electrolyte thus to reduce the inner resistance. |
