PURPOSE:To prevent elution of noxious metal ion into nonaqueous electrolyte by replacing the sodium ion in crystal zeolite with other metal cation and performing dehydration and removal of impurities. CONSTITUTION:When forming a nonaqueous electrolyte cell while employing metal lithium for negative pole and active substance such as manganese dioxide for positive pole, crystal xeolite to be produced by replacing the sodium ion in crystal zeolite to be shown by Na12[(AlO2)12(SiO2)12] with other metal cation such as Li, Ca, etc. is employed for said nonaqueous electrolyte then dehydration and removal of impurities are performed. Since elution of noxious sodium ion from crystal zeolite into electrolyte is prevented, the cell performance can be improved by lengthening the processing time to perform sufficient dehydration and removal of impurities. |
