PURPOSE:To remove the limitation of recording paper and to record a pictures easily and economically with a simple constitution by forming a magnetic layer having uniformly an intermediate medium and an inversion pattern with minute magnetic moment over the whole surface. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic belt 5 is formed by the magnetic layer 11 and a base layer 12 and the inversion pattern with fine magnetic moment is previously formed on the whole surface of the magnetic layer 11. Magnetic toner 4' of a toner image connected to the magnetic belt 5 having the inversion pattern with the magnetic moment shown by the arrow direction receives force in the magnetic belt 5 direction at the inversion part of the magnetic moment and easily transferred to the surface of the magnetic belt 5. The toner image formed by the magnetic toner 4' on the magnetic belt 5 which is the intermediate medium reaches a final transfer part, electrostatically transferred by a transfer corotron 8 and then fixed to obtain a final picture. The residual magnetic toner 4' on the photosensitive body which is left by the 1st transfer is cleaned up by a cleaning device 7, so that the succeeding picture can be obtained by the same process. |
