<p>PURPOSE:To enable high-speed winding of a fine wire rod by separately disposing a driving system for driving a take-up drum and a driving system for driving a traverser, and controlling the rotation of the traverser driving system according to a signal detecting the rotation of the drum driving system. CONSTITUTION:With a take-up drum 12 supported on a rotor 14 rotated, a wire rod 1 is reciprocated along the axis of the take-up drum 12 by a traverser 16 to take up the wire rod 1 on the take-up drum 12. In the thus constructed winder, the take-up drum 12 is driven by a drum driving system 18 for transmitting power of a driving source 30 such as a torque motor through transmitting means 32. On the other hand, the traverser 16 is driven by a traverser driving system 20 for transmitting power of another driving source 44 through transmitting means 6. The driving source 44 is controlled through a control circuit (not shown) according to an output signal of a rotation detector 64 interlocking with the driving source 30 through pulley-belt means 62.</p> |
