<p>PURPOSE:To correct the curl of a machine-glazed paper corresponding to the variation of the winding diameter by installing a member for pressing the machine-glazed paper in the opposite direction to the curl and installing a mechanism for varying the relative position between the machine-glazed paper and the pressing member as the winding diameter varies. CONSTITUTION:A curl correcting apparatus C is arranged between two feeding mechanisms on the paper-feeding part side of a paper feeding apparatus which uses a machine-glazed paper. A pressing roller 19 as a member for pressing the machine-glazed paper in the opposite direction to the curl, namely in the downward direction is installed, and fits a shaft through a bearing 19a into a groove 21 formed on a side plate 20. A mechanism for varying the relative position between the machine-glazed paper and the pressing roller 19 due to the variation of the winding diameter is installed. For example, the bearing 19a is supported by a rotary cam 23, and said cam 23 is fixed onto the rotary shaft 24a of a motor 24 fixed onto the side plate 20 by a screw 26 through a spacer 25. Then, the rotary cam 23 is turned as the diameter of the roll decreases, and thus the curl correction amount is increased.</p> |
