PURPOSE:To provide an ending device capable of checking the operation miss, by carrying out the ending operation consisting of a series of steps while checking the presence of the yarn each time when a prescribed step is finished, thereby judging the success or failure of the operation. CONSTITUTION:The sensor 52 integrated to the piecing roller 22 to transfer the yarn end is placed in the working range of the roller 22. The sensor is actuated at a desired timing, and when the presence of yarn cannot be detected, it is judged that there was a miss at some of the former steps, and the treatment of the yarn end is restarted from the search, holding and transfer of the yarn end by the pickup device 31. |
