PURPOSE:To provide a red color phosphor having a high luminance under excitation with low velocity electron beam, prepd. by mixing a specified europium- activated phosphor with an indium oxide-based conductive material doped with tin, in a specified blend ratio. CONSTITUTION:The phosphor is prepd. by mixing (A) at least one of europium- activated yttrium oxide/lanthanum/gadolinium phosphor of formula I , europium- activated yttrium sulfide/lanthanum/gadolinium phosphor of formula II and europium-activated yttrium vanadate/lanthanum/gadolinium phosphor of formula III, with an indium oxide-based conductive material doped with tin shown by In2O3.XSnO2 (0<X<0.008) in a blend ratio of 14:1-1:14. The red color phosphor shows high luminance under excitation with low velocity electron beam having an acceleration voltage of below 1KV, esp. below 100V.
