PURPOSE:To keep off any deformation after shaping as well as to make improvements in a speed of production, by separating a mold from a glass tube, while spraying a uniform cooling air current from both sides. CONSTITUTION:Each of cooling pipes 8 and 8' is attached to outer molds 7 and 7' so as not to hinder the run of these molds, and at that point that these outer molds 7 and 7' come off a glass inner tube 2, each of inner molds 4 and 4' is gradually separated from the glass inner tube as spraying cooling air currents 9 and 9'. Temperature in time of spraying these cooling air currents 9 and 9' for removal of these inner molds 4 and 4' from the glass inner tube 2 is set to below 450 deg.C. With this constitution, a strain is widely dispersed so that a manufacturing process at the next stage of work is easily performable. |
