PREPARATION OF SOIL CONDITIONER OF HIGH QUALITY WITH HIGH PRODUCTIVITY AND REDUCED WEAR OF MACHINE

PURPOSE:To control oxidative erosion of production units, reduce the operating time and minimize loss of soil conditioners in the ground, by adding iron oxide, etc. to raw material to be burned for production of white clay as soil conditioner. CONSTITUTION:Iron oxie or analogous waste iron is added to raw material in the production of white clay as soil conditioner by burning sludge from paper making. Addition of iron oxide reduces pyrolytic wear of machinery and iron contained in a granulated product is chelated with silicic acid in the sludge. Thus even when the dwell time in a heating oven is reduced, the raw material continues self-combustion to form an aimed product. Furthermore, addition of iron increases weight of the soil conditioner thus preventing its floating and flowing in the ground and the conditioner has properties as both siliceous fertilizer and iron-contg. material.
