PURPOSE:To make copying operation convenient by selecting and specifying optionally the 1st stop/start position of an original platen which is suitable for sheet original and the 2nd stop/start position suitable for the thick original. CONSTITUTION:The 1st original stop/start position is a home position where the original board 2 is not projected from a copying device body 1 and detected by actuating the 1st detector 7 by a detector actuating chip 6 attached to the original board 2. On the other hand, the 2nd start/stop position of the original board is detected by actuating the 2nd detector 8 by the actuating chip 6. The position of the original platen 2 is selected on the basis of a command signal from a position selecting command means 11 and detecting signals from the 1st and 2nd detectors 7, 8. In this case, it is preferable the 1st position is set up to the prior position of the original plate 2 and the selection of the 2nd position is commanded only when an operation key arranged on the device body 1 is depressed. |
