PURPOSE:To make it possible to sharply display printed positive images with both transmitted and reflected lights by forming photosensitive emulsion layers on both sides of a semitransparent film support to use it for a photographic printing film. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive printing film is obtained by coating both sides of a support 1 of a several hundreds mum thick white or opal semitransparent film made of cellulose acetate or polyester with black-and-white or color photosensitive or the like photosensitive emulsions to form emulsion layers 2, 3. The front side 2 of said film is exposed and printed to form positive films on both sides 2, 3, and (i) when the front side is illuminated, an image formed by being reflected on the support 1 and transmitted twice through the emulsion layer 2 is sharply displayed, and (ii) when the backside 3 is illuminated, an image formed by being transmitted the support 1 and both emulsion layers 2, 3 is also sharply displayed.
