发明名称 PRODUCTION OF CR STEEL CONTAINING LOW PHOSPHORUS
摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a stainless steel from a molten high Cr iron contg. P by carburizing the molten high Cr iron contg. P in a refining furnace having a top blowing lance and a bottom tuyere then dephosphorizing the same with a flux for dephosphorization and refining further the iron by decarburization after removing the molten slag. CONSTITUTION:A molten high Cr iron contg. >3% Cr, <0.2% Si and <5% C and contg. much P is charged into a converter provided with a bottom blowing tuyere and a top blowing lance. The molten iron is carburized in a furnace to make the content of C to >=5% and thereafter a flux contg. 30-80% fluorite, chloride, etc. of an alkaline earth metal such as fluorite, CaCl2 or the like, 0.4- 30% oxide and carbonate of Li, 1-50% oxide, etc. of Fe and Ni and 0-40% oxide, carbonate, etc. of an alkaline earth metal is added to the molten iron. Inert gas is blown through the bottom tuyere to bring the molten iron and molten slag into contact with each other under thorough stirring, thereby dephosphorizing the molten iron. The molten slag is removed and the molten iron is decarburized by the oxygen blown through the top blowing lance, by which the stainless steel contg. low C and P is produced.
