An information providing device for editing image information in response to a request of an information processing device through a network. Upon receiving a request of a personal computer (1-1), an animation editing server (3) acquires a scenario composed of scenes having arbitrary times and an arbitrary number of pieces of material data which is an object of use by the scenario from an editing temporary space (6). The animation editing server (3) selects predetermined pieces of the acquired material data, relates the pieces to the acquired scenes, corrects the material data according to the relation between the selected pieces and the scenes, and thus edits the image.
