PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional image-processing unit that it takes a long time for display processing, when a text is always displayed in the case that the attributes of data of a static image or a moving image corresponding to a selected thumbnail are displayed in texts. SOLUTION: A contents processing routine 152-1 controls the display of a thumbnail and discriminates whether a thumbnail is kept in the selected state and a prescribed time has elapsed. When the contents-processing routine 152-1 discriminates that the thumbnail is kept selected and a prescribed time elapses, the contents-processing routine 152-1 controls the display of information relating to the thumbnail at a prescribed position which corresponds to the display position of the thumbnail.
