摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting human neu-related protein to be detected in human biological fluid, for example, blood, blood serum, blood plasma, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, supernatant of normal cell homogenate, supernatant of preneoplastic cell homogenate, supernatant of tumor cell homogenate, supernatant of cancer cytogeny maintained in a tissue culture condition, and breast aspirates and, more specifically, p100 which is human neu-related protein corresponding substantially to an extracellular region of a human neu-gene product and having a molecular weight in a scope of about 97,000 dalton to about 115,000 dalton and is substantially purified. SOLUTION: This method for detecting human preneoplastic cell or tumor cell comprises a step (a) in which biological fluid derived from a subject is brought into contact with at least one monoclonal antibody connectable with p100 and a step (b) in which the presence of p100 in the biological fluid is checked by examining whether antibody connection arises or not.</p>
