<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an exhaust pipe from biasing and deteriorating in its flexibility and strength, by forming an external layer tube of a material whose coefficient of thermal expansion is larger than that of an inner layer tube. CONSTITUTION:Although an inner and outer layer tubes 11, 12 are in a tightly adhering state normally, when they are used for a motor car by equipping them on an exhaust pipe, the outer layer tube 12 is expanded due to heat of exhaust gas and a gap 18 is generated. Even if air or oil, therefore, which are dormant between the inner and outer layer tubes 11, 12 is expanded, they are discharged outside through the gap 18. The exhaust pipe, therefore, can be prevented from biasing and deteriorating in its flexibility and strength.</p> |
