PURPOSE:To prevent an engine failure on a starting by delaying the starting of fuel injection until a fixed time passes after the time of the starting of cranking. CONSTITUTION:When a key switch is operated to the position of starting in order to start a Diesel engine, a starter switch 5 is turned ON and a starter 8 is operated, and the cranking of the engine is started. A cranking starting signal is also transmitted over a delay circuit 6 from the starter switch 5 at the same time. Consequently, a fuel shut-off valve 3 is supplied with control currents turned ON after a fixed time previously set passes after the starting signal is transmitted. Accordingly, fuel injection is started after the fixed time passes after the starting of cranking, and an engine failure on a starting can be prevented. |
