<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture an optical voltage transformer device at low cost and to improve its precision by connecting a capacitor for voltage dividsion regulation in parallel to an electrooptic effect element which detects the voltage difference between a high voltage conductor and a voltage dividing electrode. CONSTITUTION:The voltage dividing electrode 7 is arranged in an insulated state between respective high-voltage conductors 6 of the three-phase line in the container 5 of a gas insulating switch and a container 5 held to the ground potential, a Pockels element 8 is connected between the high-voltage conductor 6 and voltage dividing electrode 7, and the capacitor 9 for divided voltage regulation is connected in paralel to the Pockels element 8. This capacitor 9 is determined according to the voltage class of the line and the size set value between the voltage dividing electrode and the ground, and the composite value CT of its capacitance CD and the capacitance COP of the Pockels element 8 is reduced to the capacitance between the voltage dividing electrode 7 and high-voltage conductor 6, adjusting the voltage applied to the Pockels element 8.</p> |
