The riser (1) of the shower installation is in flow-connection with a pump system (4) which is independent of a pressurised-water line and can be operated with muscle power. In this case, the pump system (4) comprises two foot-operated bellows (5 and 6) which can be operated by rocking or alternate stepping of the user, alternately drawing water out of a source or conveying water into the riser (1). By means of these measures according to the invention, it is now possible to operate the shower installation directly near flowing or still waters or to draw water from canisters or buckets standing on the ground. <IMAGE>
