PURPOSE:To form an image of high quality with a simple constitution by attracting and holding residual magnetic fluid adhered to the surface of a ferromagnetic base body dipped into the magnetic fluid and rotated by the magnetic force of a magnetic body opposed to base body. CONSTITUTION:When a part of the ferromagnetic base body 3 is rotated while being dipped into the magnetic fluid 2, the base body 3 is developed by the fluid 2. The residual magnetic fluid 2 adhered to the surface in accordance with the rotation of the base body 3 is attracted and held by the magnetic force of the magnetic body 7 opposed to the base body 3. An image on the base body 3 is transferred to transfer paper 8 and the surface of the base body 3 is cleaned by a brade 11. Since a magnetic fluid projecting nozzle or a magnetic fluid holding stylus is unnecessary, its adjusting work is not required and a clear image can be obtained by simple structure and operation. Thus, the surface of the base body 3 can be completely cleaned up. |
