PURPOSE:To hold radial and axial gaps between a rotor and a stator in predetermined values by a method wherein a plurality of main legs for connecting are planted into the stator and a compression mechanism is connected integrally with the main legs for connecting under aligning the center thereof wit the same of the stator and adjusting an axial distance between them. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of main legs 8 for connecting, which are extending to their axial directions, are planted near the outer periphery of the stator 2 for a motor 4, whereat the density of magnetic flux is small and the legs will not affect the rotary efficiency so much, by caulking, built-in or the like. The stator is held at a given position through a stator clamper 9 and the cylinder section 7 of compression mechanism 6 are penetrated by respective connecting main legs 8. Next, the cylinder section 7 is rolled into the radial direction by a center aligning device 10 and is moved into up-and-down to position it correctly by an axial position adjusting device 11. |
