PURPOSE: To provide a wireless receiver that can reduce the arithmetic amount in a CDMA adaptive array. CONSTITUTION: Signals x1-x4 received from antennas 2a-2d are respectively given to adaptive array signal processing sections 3-5, corresponding to users and also to a matrix arithmetic section 6. The matrix arithmetic processing section 6 calculates a correlation matrix Φ0 of the received signals x1-x4 from each antenna and its inverse matrix Φ0-1 and gives them to the adaptive array signal processing sections 3-5 corresponding to the users. Each adaptive array signal processing section applies inverse spread processing to the received signals x1-x4, to calculate a reply vector Un and to calculate a weight vector Wn' from the inverse matrix Φ0-1 and the reply vector Un, to apply weighting to the inverse spread signal of each reception signal. When each of the signal processing sections 3-5 is an RAKE receiver, it uses the inverse matrix Φ0-1 in common, to calculate the weight of each tap. |
