PURPOSE:To simplify a driving mechanism for 9 plane mirror by moving the two plane mirrors in one body at a specific moving speed by specific distance during exposure without moving an image formation lens. CONSTITUTION:When exposing operation is performed, an original is placed on an original platen surface 1, the position of an image forming lens system 4 and the start position of the plane mirrors A and B are set corresponding to copy magnification beta, and then they are moved over a photosensitive body 5 a specific surface speed VD in a specific direction without reference to the copy magnification beta. Then, while the image forming lens system 4 is not moved, the two plane mirrors A and B are displaced in one body at the moving sped VD/(2cos(theta/2)) by the distance (S0+S)beta/(2cos(theta/2)) at theta/2 (theta: angle between an optical axis of incidence on the plane mirror A and an optical axis f projection from the plane mirror B) to the original platen surface 1 at right angles to their lengthwise direction, thereby exposing the photosensitive body 5 through a slit. In this case, S0 is the scanning-directinal length and S is the width of an exposed part. |
