摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain uniform mixture by a method wherein a venturi section cast integrally with a manifold is provided at respective branch paths of the intake manifold near the mounting section of a carburettor to atomize fuel adhered to the inner wall surface of the manifold. CONSTITUTION:The intake manifold M is formed with suction pipes for four cylinders by a constitution wherein the manifold is branched into two pipes at the assembling part of the mounting setion 5 of the carburettor and, further, the pipes are branched into two pipes again at the tip ends of two pipes of the former. Said section, including respective branch paths 7, are cast integrally as the main body of the intake manifold normally. Further, respective venturi sections 8 are cast integrally with the intake manifold M at respective inlet ports of the branch paths near the mounting section 5 of the carburettor. A part of fuel, released from the carburettor without being atomized and adhered to the inner wall surfaces of the intake manifold M, passes through the venturi sections 8 and flows to sections at the central part of the branch paths 7, at which sections the flow speeds of the mixture are high, and is atomized there after being dispersed.</p>
