The invention relates to a device for attaching cladding shells to support bodies of chairs, such as office swivel chairs and the like, a holding body being firmly mounted on the inside of the cladding shell, which holding body has a dovetail-shaped guide, for a sliding block which is to be inserted in said guide, as well as an attachment protrusion which, in turn, can be brought into engagement in a corresponding bore of a support body.
