PURPOSE:To provide a method that can perform the predischarge of a battery whose assembly has been completed extensively and easily. CONSTITUTION:A great number of batteries (a) are loaded on a tray 20 made of polypropylene used for predischarge and are immersed in a nonaqueous electrolyte in the same way as the entire is impregnated with a separator 7 and then predischarge is performed for 30 minutes. Then they tray 20 is pulled up from the electrolyte and is washed by flowing water and the lithium ion diluted on the surface of a negative electrode can 4 during predischarge is dissolved and removed and then the tray is cleaned by using alcohol and Freon and is dried by air. As a result, since a great number of batteries are prevented from being set in a predischarge unit every times and uses a solution as the dicharge path, the unevenness of the contact resistance between the batteries and the predischarge unit and the unevenness of the discharge resistance are eliminated and uniform predischarge can be performed. |
