PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting conveyor capable of carrying and sorting carrying matters into a plurality of lines. SOLUTION: This sorting conveyor comprises retainers 10 for retaining carrying matters C, being traveled along at least two guide rails 15 and 15, respectively, and the retainers are constituted so as to mutually approach in a receiving position and mutually separate in a carrying-out position. This conveyor also comprises retaining parts 11 for placing the carrying matters C in the retainers 10 so as to be arranged in a line in the receiving position. This conveyor further comprises an attracting means for attracting the carrying matters C to the retaining parts 11 in the carrying stroke from the receiving position to the carrying-out position.
