AGITATOR IN HORIZONTAL CYLINDRICAL VESSEL

摘要

PURPOSE:To perform stably the vapor phase polymerization of olefin by providing travelling columnar rollers so that the rear surface of a paddle type agitating blade in brought into contact with the surface of the rotary shaft along with the revolution of the paddle type agitating blade. CONSTITUTION:A number of paired horizontal type paddle blades 3 are attached to a rotary shaft 2 of the paddle type agitating blades. A columnar roller 33 and a supporting guide 32 for guiding the columnar roller 33 to travel freely between the rear surface of the paddle blade and the surface of the rotary shaft are installed and fixed to the rear surface of each paddle blade in the running direction of the paddle blade 3 and the surface of the rotary shaft. The columnar roller travels along the guide groove, and consists of a couple of rollers 35 contected by a shaft 34 having a smaller diameter than the roller. The columnar form is preferable as shape of the roller.
