The subject-matter of the invention is a compound-slide machine having numerical path control for the processing of panes of glass, in which linear asynchronous motors (18, 19; 24, 25) which can be positioned are used as drive systems for the compound slide (6), which asynchronous motors are regulated using the pulse-width modulation method.
