<p>PURPOSE:To constitute a potential sensor so as to calculate a voltage value by output generated by a photoelectromotive element, by changing light permeability by providing a transparent ceramic body having electro-optical scattering effect on the photoelectromotive element. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 12 coming to an ohmic contact is provided on the semiconductor layer comint to a positive electrode side of a homo-junction or hetero-junction type photoelectromotive element 11 and a transparent electrode 13 is provided on the semiconductor layer coming to a negative electrode side. In addition, a transparent ceramic part 14 having electro-optical scattering effect is formed on the transparent electrode 13 and a transparent electrode 15 is provided on the transparent ceramic part 14 to form a photoelectromotive element. A terminal 16 for applying measuring voltage is connected to the transparent electrode 15 and an earth terminal 17 is connected to the transparent electrode 13 while a terminal 18 for taking out the voltage of said element is connected to the electrode 12. When light is incident to the voltage-applied transparent ceramic part 14, light is scattered and the quantity of light permeated into the element is changed along with the magnitude of applied voltage while output obtained at the terminal 18 is changed. By the magnitude of this output, voltage applied to the terminal 16 is measured.</p> |
