PURPOSE:To obtain a still picture without flickering and deterioration in resolution by using a special video disc reproducing device as a supply source of a video signal and applying its output to a receiver without interlacing. CONSTITUTION:The video signal recorded on a video disc 1 is reproduced by two reproducing heads H1, H2 at the same time and applied to A/D converting circuits 4A, 4B through head amplifiers 3A, 3B. While one of the two heads reproduces an odd number field, the other reproduces an even number field. A digital signal A/D-converted is applied respectively to line memories 5A1, 5A2 and 5B1, 5B2 and stored at each line. In reading the information from these memories in double speed and applying it to an adder circuit 6, since the line of the odd number field and the line of the even number field are outputted alternately from the adder circuit 6, the picture is applied to the receiver 9 without interlacing. |
