PURPOSE:To enhance durability and moisture resistance and mechanical strength by using a solvent soln. coating type fluororesin for the surface layer of a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A part or the whole part of the surface layer of an electrophotographic sensitive body using various systems of an electrophotographic process contains a solvent soln. coating type fluororesin. For example, 100pts.wt. electrophotographic ZnO powder, 0.2pt.wt. Rose Bengal, 40pts.wt. of said fluororesin, 8pts.wt. isocyanate, and 60pts.wt. xylene are mixed and dispersed in a ball mill. A substrate is coated with this dispersion with a roll coater and dried at 100 deg.C to form 22mum film thickness. An electrophotographic copying machine using the electrophotographic sensitive body thus obtained prevents any bleeding of an image resulting from deterioration due to corona discharge even after making 1,000 copies, and prevention of abrasion and deterioration of the electrophotographic sensitive body can be attained. |
