PURPOSE:To provide a heat-insulation plate for a wooden house, composed of a foamed high-density polyethylene plate, having specific structure in the foamed material, having a rigidity, compressive strength, etc. suitable for filling into an assembled wood structure, and having excellent heat-insulation property. CONSTITUTION:The objective heat-insulation plate is a foamed plate having an apparent density of 0.07-0.1g/cm<3> and made of a high-density polyethylene having a density of 0.935-0.966g/cm<3> and a melt index of 0.01-5.5g/10min. The cross-sectional area of the foamed plate is >=37.5cm<2>, the minimum cross-sectional dimension is >=1cm, and the ratio of the maximum cross-sectional dimension to the minimum cross-sectional dimension is >=3.75. The average bubble diameter at the core part of the foam is 0.05-3mm. The plate has one or more surface layers containing flat bubbles aligned parallel to the surface.
